Former WebLogic President uses Ad Hoc to Position Start Up as First-to-Market

Peter Norberg, former president of WebLogic, which was acquired by BEA Systems for a post-acquisition value of over $2 billion and co-founder of new company called CrossCommerce was a privately held company located in San Francisco that provided the mid market with software which allowed them to easily build an e-commerce component into their sites, by automating all of the back-end processes.

Ad Hoc was part of the extension of CrossCommerce's marketing department. Our task was to help with national business press outreach and uniquely position CrossCommerce as the first-to-market player using Norberg's name as a springboard.

As a result, CrossCommerce consistently appeared in Business Week, CBS Marketwatch, Forbes, Fortune, Red Herring, Business 2.0, WSJ, and others.
