During her 21-year career, Shelli Ryan has consulted with organizations in North America, Latin America, Asia and Europe. She has successfully completed hundreds of complex technology marketing campaigns, built a profitable business taking her client base from regional to international, and recruited a stellar team of senior consultants whose results endure.
Anyone who knows Shelli knows that she has a unique knack for bringing people together to accomplish a goal. Whether she's articulating a company vision, finding solutions and seizing opportunities for clients, or staunchly combining her team's problem-solving orientation with deep technical knowledge and strong execution to help organizations achieve success in their most critical missions - she does it with tremendous focus and gusto.
Shelli is an extremely ethical, straightforward, and engaging professional. Coupled with an always welcome sense of humor, vision and energy, she is a force in the world of strategy and technology marketing consulting.
After earning a technology degree, she began her career as a technical writer for EDS, was a print reporter, and has provided leadership to high tech clients in several vertical markets. She has developed market development strategies for high tech clients including Affiliated Computer Services - a Xerox Company, Nortel Networks, Sanmina-SCI Corp, Digital Legends Entertainment, Sentryware, the Madrid-based web security application providers, CrossCommerce, West Corporation, Zend Technologies, the Israeli-based developers of the PHP scripting language, and Nishan Systems (now McDATA Systems), providers of real-time storage services, IP solutions and internetworking capabilities.
Shelli has been responsible for managing international press efforts in many regions including South America, the United Kingdom, South Africa, the Middle East and Asia Pacific. Ryan built publicity for the first shared ATM network in China and the first U.S. smart card deployment.
A frequent author and speaker on business-to-business marketing, Shelli earned her Master's in Public Administration from the University of Oklahoma, completed crisis communications training from Columbia University's Dr. Covello, and is a Fellow of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).
